UK Link disaster recovery test 2023

Every year we carry out a disaster recovery test on UK Link

As part of this exercise we will ensure that production UK Link services continue to be functional and performant should there be an outage within an availability zone (datacentre) where the services are hosted.

This year’s test will take place on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 August

Activities will start before, and run into the scheduled UK Link maintenance window however no outage is expected as a consequence of the testing.

In the unlikely event we experience issues during the testing, an outage may be required of up to two hours while we revert the system back to normal functionality.
