Xoserve is pleased to announce the appointment of Rachael Davidson to its Board as the new Shipper Nominated Director (SND)

Rachael has been nominated by the Shipper Nominations Committee following a recent recruitment process, as Yehuda Cohen, the current SND, approaches the end of his maximum nine-year tenure on the Board. Rachael will formally assume the role from 1 September 2025.

Rachael brings a wealth of experience from across the energy and regulated sectors, having held senior roles at organisations including National Grid, BT, and O2.

As an experienced Chief Legal Officer, she has worked closely with audit committees and held responsibility for legal, compliance, ethics, and risk management functions. More recently, she has served on a number of Boards in advisory, General Counsel, and Company Secretary roles.

Reflecting on her appointment, Rachael Davidson said:

"Xoserve plays a vital role in delivering trusted, reliable data that underpins the UK's gas market. I'm delighted to join as a board member to support its evolution – strengthening operational delivery and helping ensure that services adapt to meet the sector's future needs."

Chair of the Xoserve Board, Mike Hogg, commented:

"As the industry continues to navigate radical change, we're very pleased that Rachael will bring her broad experience within the energy and other sectors of risk management, corporate governance, data protection and assurance to support our ongoing and developing role.”

He also offered sincere thanks to outgoing Board member Yehuda Cohen:

Whilst welcoming Rachael, I would also like, on behalf of the Xoserve Board, to take this opportunity to thank Yehuda Cohen for his significant contributions over the past nine years. His dedication, insight & independence of thought have played an important role in guiding Xoserve through a period of considerable change. We wish him all the very best for the future.”

Rachael’s appointment marks an important step as Xoserve continues to evolve its services to support the needs of the UK’s gas market and its future transformation.
