Issue with processing bids for the Within-Day Exit Capacity process

Background

An issue was identified affecting the processing of bids for within-day exit capacity auctions placed between 23:00 on 01 July and 02:00 on 02 July.

Progress and next steps

Following successful investigation and validation, an enduring application fix has been developed to address the identified defect. As the service remains stable, the original issue has not reoccurred, and appropriate monitoring and contingency measures remain in place, it has been agreed that the implementation of the enduring fix will progress through the standard CAB approval process.

The enduring fix is scheduled for deployment later today, subject to CAB approval. Enhanced monitoring will continue until the change has been successfully implemented.
